Role Model
Today was a very nice day so I decided to get out of the office and grab some lunch. I was wanting the best Bar-B-Q so I went to Starnes! As I was getting my sandwiches and walking out I ran into one of the best guys in the world, Tony Crowe! We spoke and he said "Hey man, ran across your blog the other day!" He said that he was just looking through blogs and he said that he ran accross mine. Tony and I know each other from working at CD X-change together. He is also a Paducah Fireman. He and my boss were good friends and Tony worked there while I was in college during the day. Tony and I would chat it up for hours about music, girls, cars and just life in general. I had the best time with him. He has always had the nicest of everything. One day he pulled up in his Camaro Z28, black with the Z28 rims and T-Tops. It was the badest car ever. Jokeingly at the time that I asked if I could take it to the prom (with the girl I was seeing at the time) and he was like yeah why not! I'm sure my jaw hit the ground! I was like WHAT? I was just kidding and he said "Yeah man!"
I have always looked up to Tony and I hope that I can be the man he is. I remember something he said to me once. “You don’t get any where without hard work”. Seems like it runs through my head at least once a week. Thanks Tony! Visit his blog here and see his cute kids and his family!

Flash Back Friday
Heather has been doing flashback Fridays for a couple of weeks now. I thought of one this morning that is awesome.
PRESS YOUR LUCK.
This game was good until a Paul Michael Larson came on it. He was a contestant on the american television show in June 1984. Larson's claim to fame was his winning $110,237 in cash and prizes, which he was able to do by memorizing the patterns used on the Press Your Luck game board.
I loved this show because of all the wacky stuff that the Whammy would do.

Storm Damage
OK most of you know the storm of 09' hit with a vengeance and we are all feeling it. Thanks to Uncle Larry I got photos of my damage. We lost half of our big tree out front of our house.
We stayed at Nanny's House on Monday Night but we got the heck out of dodge on Tuesday. We lost power from Tuesday til Saturday. We took off to St. Louis to stay with Lauren's Aunt Debbie and Uncle Jeff's House. We stayed until Monday morning and we had a blast. Jeff cooked the best steaks and we watched the Super Bowl. Jeff and I even went to the St. Louis Blues Hockey game. It was kick butt! We had box seats with all the free food we wanted! Hot Dogs, Brats, Popcorn, Chicken, Caesar Salads, and Ice Cream not to mention free beer and Soft drinks. Jeff and I had the best time and I lost my voice.
When we came home our tree was cut up and stacked on a pile. Lauren's dad got a little bored without electricity and chopped it up. Now the decision: Do I cut the tree down that is leaning towards my house or do I leave it and hope that it doesn't fall on the house?

Parting with his Blackberry is such sweet sorrow!
Wasting time this morning I was surfing Facebook as usual and my friend Alichia's status said:
Despite security concerns, President-Elect Barack Obama says he won't give up his Blackberry. Sorta like how Bush wouldn't give up his Leap Frog.
I died laughing and all my co-workers started saying what are you laughing at? All of the are die hard republicans so I just kind of shook it off as a funny email. Too funny Alichia!

Big Brother's After Us!!!!
Wasting time at work today I discovered something very cool. I was getting directions to an address so I could possibly measure a building sometime next week. I typed in my home address and there it was. Google has Street view of my house. Big Brother is looking right into my front windows. Lauren was at home at the time and of course I wasn't. I was probably working one of my many jobs. :) I would have never guessed that Google Maps would have street views of Paducah.
